(Disfunctional) American Family Insurance
Becki calls me today and tells me that I have a letter from American Family Insurance with the phrase "Payment Enclosed". This means only one thing. Someone somewhere screwed up my insurance again and now it's cancelled.
I call up AmFam and speak to Anthony who tells me they haven't received a payment in two months. I check with my US Bank's online banking and sure enough it shows the checks as sent and paid. I ran into this problem once before. So now I have to go down there on Saturday and show them the check.
Here's where the problem comes in. I thought I paid them already. So naturally, I thought the money was gone. I don't have enough to cover both months right now. Plus this gig I'm on now (for Dell) doesn't pay until December 18th. I have to be in New York on the 18th. I'm screwed.

Only, you can't buy a Dell system with the chips installed, and you can't upgrade existing PCs because they use Intel-only motherboards. This is Dell's way of helping Intel out of their soon-to-be-filed anti-trust lawsuit. How the Irish get down!
Super Sexy Geek Action!
I came up with a great idea.
Let me rephrase that, I took a great idea that myself and Rabbit shared a while ago (but let die) and turned into something I could use with my site. My blog will now be simulcast back to my old blog on Blogger. It seems I miss out on alot of people actually reading my blog because I'm no longer in the random loop that Blogger provides. Behold! I now harness the power of Blogger! Let me show you what I'm talking about. Go look. Pretty cool huh? Now I just need to get back to supplying my blog with some genuine personal content.
