The organization of any complex arrangement hinges on the interplay of seemingly haphazard individual events.

Hidden NYE Post
I felt it was necessary to hide the "New Years Eve" post because the comments were becoming a safety issue. Only registered readers can read the post now. Sorry guys.

I can't make this up...
"We had an incident last week where we sent a roach into an duct to test for an air leak, when we asked the roach to turn right, it responded by asking for our email addresses and offered to send us viagra in return."Original Story

My cat
Someone stole my cat, had it declawed, and then released it. I'm so angry I can't even finish this post.
Creative Writing
How would everyone feel about me picking up an old hobby of mine? Every once in a while I would just post some random chunk of a story as it fills my head. There would most likely be no beginning to the story, and probably no end either. Just some section in the middle describing people in a scenario. What they look like, how they feel, and why they feel that way.

An author who claims to have found the real meaning behind one of Britain's most famous carols says it isn't about Christmas at all - it's about sex.

Longest Birthday I've ever had.
It's now my birthday. Because it's starting on the east coast and ending on the west coast I'll have 3 more hours of birthday. Normally my birthday is the second shortest day of the year so I figure I've had this day coming.

FOREX? For sure...
I started playing in the foreign exchange market. I started with $50,000 in fake money (but real market). I've made 5,000 today. Heh, I rock. Granted, markets fluctuate. But, if I can double my money in 6 months, I'm going to actually put real money into it.

Last Day in Florida.
I've been sick this entire time. Damn sinus infection. I hate being sick. Every moment not in class has been in bed. I didn't even check out the beach. I'll try and take a few pictures of stuff before I bail though.

10 Rules for Running Google
Hire by committee. Virtually every person who interviews at Google talks to at least half-a-dozen interviewers, drawn from both management and potential colleagues. Everyone's opinion counts, making the hiring process more fair and pushing standards higher. Yes, it takes longer, but we think it's worth it. If you hire great people and involve them intensively in the hiring process, you'll get more great people. We started building this positive feedback loop when the company was founded, and it has had a huge payoff.

The imfamous "Eels" video
Why, oh why, did I repost this thing? Because no matter how many times I rename the damn thing people keep finding it and watching it. This leaves me with a huge bandwidth hog. So now I've used audioblog.com to host the video for me. I don't care how many times it's watched now. Oh yea, don't watch the video. It's sick.
Minimum Requirements for Longhorn
"Microsoft is expected to recommend that the 'average' Longhorn PC feature a dual-core CPU running at 4 to 6GHz; a minimum of 2 gigs of RAM; up to a terabyte of storage; a 1 Gbit, built-in, Ethernet-wired port and an 802.11g wireless link; and a graphics processor that runs three times faster than those on the market today. "

Homeless Rather Get Handouts Than Work
what tian has learned: Homeless Rather Get Handouts Than Work From now on don't feel bad for not giving them money. The ones that truely need it are too mentally ill to hold signs. You know, the ones that talk to themselves.
Politics 101
Republicans, Democrats -- they all have their own special interests they want us the taxpayers to fund in some way or another.
Amen to that.
